Ads are courtesy of ad networks like Google AdSense. The way AdSense works it that it looks for key words and then pulls ads according to those words. For example, a post on gun rights may link to an ad for the Brady Campaign. I have no control at this time over what the ads actually say on what ads appear.
Will this always be the case? Not necessarily, but it is the case for the time being.
At no time should anyone construe an ad on this site to necessarily mean an endorsement for the ideas or products depicted in those ads. Like I said, I have no control over them, so please don’t hold me responsible for them.

[Update] – I have now opened up the possibility of advertising. I was contacted by someone wishing to purchase and ad on this site, and took the money. Hey, what can I say, I’m a capitalist.
