Kiwis love a renovation (well, those that can afford to own a home do). Something about taking a house, tearing it apart and making it ours gives us great pride. Everywhere we look these days, we're flooded with the latest trends and tips on how to make your home beautiful. But what isn't discussed is how to make your home safe in a natural disaster. We needed a way to speak to those about to renovate their home, reminding them that it's not all about aesthetics - it's about safety too. Oh, and it couldn't sound like another public service announcement. We've all heard enough of those lately.
